Copies of the Research Valley Press are distributed directly to every driveway in many of Bryan-College Station’s best neighborhoods, packed in heat-sealed, transparent polyurethane bags. Neighborhoods reached with 100% saturation include Pebble Creek, Miramount, Indian Lakes, Peach Creek, and the Castlegate subdivisions. Select homes, ones that appear owner occupied and higher income, in areas like College Hills, College Station’s Historic District, and Downtown Bryan receive copies. Approximately 2,000 businesses in Bryan, College Station, and surrounding areas receive from 1 to 5 copies for their employees employees and customers. About 300 public news-stands, hotel lobbies, and waiting rooms in local businesses are stocked with between 10 and 50 “take one” copies. The businesses and public news-stands we select for The Press are not usually in the immediate Texas A&M and Blinn Campus areas. The Press is tailored to those living and working in the Brazos Valley long term, its sister publication, The Scene, distributes in a similar manner to the local campus communities.
