Texas A&M University To Present Nearly 10,500 Degrees During Spring Commencement Ceremonies

Texas A&M University is projected to award nearly 10,500 degrees this spring during 15 commencement ceremonies held across Texas and at its branch campus in Doha, Qatar.

“Thousands of hard-working individuals of character will be bringing the Aggie core values into the world, setting an example for others to follow,” said Texas A&M University President Michael K. Young. “The faculty and staff who support student success are model examples of leadership, committed to graduating students who are well-prepared and committed to meet the challenges of our global society. We celebrate our students’ efforts and determination and our extraordinary faculty’s contribution to student success. My sincere congratulations to the Aggie Class of 2018!”

Spring 2018 commencements began on April 27, with the Texas A&M University School of Law presenting 107 juris doctorate and master’s degrees. The College Station-based commencement ceremonies begin tomorrow (May 9) with the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degrees presented by the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Eight ceremonies featuring 12 colleges and schools will follow in Reed Arena over the weekend.
