Aggies Say ‘Thank You’ To The University’s Custodians

Aggie students will show their appreciation for Texas A&M University’s hard-working custodians with the Custodian Banquet on Monday, April 24 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the MSC Bethancourt Ballroom. This event, organized by the Student Government Association (SGA), is held at the end of each school year for the custodial workers of SSC Facilities Services to say thank you for all of their hard work throughout the year.

Freshman Madeleine Williams serves on the SGA custodian banquet committee and says the banquet is, “a great opportunity for students to visit with the custodians and tell them how much their work has meant to them during their time at Texas A&M. The event was started 11 years ago by a group of Fish Aides who recognized a need for an opportunity to acknowledge the custodial workers.” Madeleine and her three committee members say they’ve been working hard to plan…
