SARC to hold Volunteer Training beginning January 23rd

unnamedThe Sexual Assault Resource Center will begin its 87th Advocate Training Class on Monday, January 23rd at Blinn College – Brenham Campus. The training class is open to all individuals interested in serving as an advocate for survivors of sexual violence, their family members and loved ones. The Advocate Training Program is free and certified by the Office of the Attorney General. Anyone interested in volunteering may contact Caroline Adams or Amanda Gomez at (979) 731-1000 between 8am and 5pm Monday through Friday; or visit our website at www.sarcbv.org.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal background check.
