Local Law Enforcement Officers are participating in the Special Olympics Tip-a-Cop fundraiser. This year Tip-a-Cop will be held at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant located at 1601 University Drive East in College Station.
Officers from the Bryan Police Department, College Station Police Department, Brazos County Constables, Brazos County Sheriff’s Department, Texas A&M University Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will assist the wait staff for tips. Officers will refill drinks and assist the public in any way possible to collect tips, all of which will directly benefit the Special Olympics in our area.
Law Enforcement officers are keepers of the flame for the Special Olympics and raise money for the Special Olympics each year. Officers also participate in a Torch Run to the Special Olympics State games and volunteer time working security at games held here in the Brazos Valley every year.
We ask that you take the family out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse on July 18th, 19th, 20th, & 21st. from 5:30pm – 10:00pm for a good meal and good conversation with police officers all while supporting a good cause. It will be fun for the whole family, a positive impact on our community, and your tips for these officers will directly benefit a great cause and a great asset to the Brazos Valley.
