Grass Roots Local Rescue Saves Over 1500 Animals

On May 28th, 2013, Urgent Animals of Hearne and Robertson County was started by Debbie Fatheree and a diverse group of people that have come together to help as many voiceless, abused, abandoned, neglected companion animals as they possibly can.

The rescue saves animals from the kill shelter in Robertson County, boards and fosters them, provides full vet care, and adopts them out to families in the College Station area through weekly adoption events at America’s Country Store in Wellborn and Sam’s in College Station.

Their efforts have saved over 1500 dogs and counting. Taking them from some of the worst circumstances imaginable into happy lives with loving families.

If you’re looking for a dog to love and give a forever home or are interested in fostering or volunteering, visit their facebook page to get in touch.
